Delta-8 vs. Delta-9 vs. Delta-10, Can you guess which one is the one with full THC (tetrahydrocannabinol)?

I couldn’t tell you off the top of my head and I’m a criminal defense attorney. Wait, how does Mr. Yoon defend marijuana cases if he doesn’t know? Well, think of it this way, a doctor doesn’t need to have cancer herself to be able to treat it.

In short, Delta-9 is the one in the joints, bongs, bowls, blunts, and oils that used to be illegal in Virginia. Also, Delta-9 is illegal in most states and by federal law. Delta-8 and Delta-10 are much lower in potency but you can still feel the psychoactive effect and sensations.

Governor Youngkin proposes to eliminate Delta-8 from VA. It’s just one of many things the new Republican Governor is doing to pacify his base. Democratic delegates and senators will naturally oppose it to keep their seats in office. With the strongest THC (Delta-9) currently legal, I’m going to say that it’s not very likely the less potent Delta-8 and 10 will all of a sudden become illegal.

If you want to follow what’s going on, check out here: https://lis.virginia.gov/cgi-bin/legp604.exe?221+sum+SB591. You’ll see how the general assembly is redefining marijuana and addressing issues with edibles, vape, oils, and other ways Delta-8 and 10 are currently being sold in retail shops and gas stations without any regulation.
