A Day in the Life of a Lawyer

Contrary to what’s depicted in legal dramas and movies, it’s actually not that interesting… Or is it? I wake up, brush my teeth, shower, and shave. I pick out a suit, dress shirt, and appropriate necktie, and do my best to match my shoes with my belt. The only difference to that routine is that now I make sure I grab a professional-looking face mask because it’s still the pandemic and most places require one.

No matter what dress clothes I wear, the real difference is what that day has in store. As you all know, I handle Traffic & Criminal Defense cases, Personal Injury matters that involve primarily car accidents, slip and fall cases, medical malpractice, and wrongful death cases, and I also handle Bankruptcy matters in the United States Bankruptcy Court. Depending on what type of case I have that day, I could be duking it out with a prosecutor in state or federal court. I could be arguing a case in front of a judge where I’m aggressively advocating for my client so that he or she can receive a higher money judgement for a car accident they were injured in. I could also be sitting in my office on the phone with a Bankruptcy Court Trustee answering questions about my client’s Chapter 7 bankruptcy petition.

Some days when I don’t have court appearances, I dress casually. I wear what you might wear on a summer day to the grocery store because all I have are virtual meetings, consultations, or administrative work.

One thing that doesn’t change is my relentless hard work to make sure that my client, including YOU, receives the best possible representation that you can afford. I know that during these tough times, you have a lot to worry about. You worry about your jobs, about paying bills, your health, and your family’s well-being. Part of my job is to take on some of that burden so you can continue doing your job and taking care of your responsibilities. I assure you that when you hire the Yoon Law Firm, you will get excellent representation and receive prompt communication and the optimal resolution to your case.

My day is only complete when I know that I’ve dotted my i’s and crossed my t’s and know that your case is being well-handled. No matter my attire, you are part of my daily routine, and I value your trust and confidence in me as your lawyer. Please also remember that you and I are a team and unless you tell me the truth and provide me with all the information I need, I can’t be as effective as I could be in defending and representing you. Let’s do this
